Community of Practice for Sustainable Agriculture in Sardinia’s Mountain Areas
In the coming months, a participatory process promoted by Laore Sardegna, with the technical and scientific support of Rurinnova S.r.l. Benefit Corporation, will be launched to establish the regional Community of Practice for agricultural sustainability.
The initiative is part of INN-PRATICA – Cross-border Community of Practice for innovation in agriculture and the ecological and digital transition, co-financed by the INTERREG VI-A Italy–France “Marittimo” 2021–2027 Programme.
The first meeting will take place on 4 November 2025 at CEAS Gennargentu in Fonni, followed by further sessions in the weeks thereafter, dedicated to dialogue among farms and agri-food businesses, local authorities, research centres, and economic operators in the territory.
The pathway aims to strengthen the resilience and sustainability of mountain farming, enhancing local products, biodiversity, and traditional knowledge as key drivers of the ecological and digital transition. At the end of the meetings, results will be shared with the project’s cross-border partners, contributing to a cooperation network for agricultural innovation in rural and mountain areas of the Mediterranean.
